The Male Ferret
If you are determined that you want to purchase a male ferret, how can you be positive that the ferret you are purchasing is a male? It is actually much easier than you have probably anticipated to decipher whether or not your particular ferret is of the male gender.
Is your ferret a male or a female?
Examining the abdominal regional of your ferret, by turning him onto his back, is the way to determine whether your ferret is actually of the male gender.
The center of the abdomen is where the genitalia of a male ferret is located. To confirm a female ferret’s gender, the genitalia will be seen between the hind legs, underneath the tail.
